The paper firstly introduces the definition ,the functions as well as the characteristicsof the credit cards.Then it briefly tells the history of world credit market,includingthat of north America ,Europe and Asia .The emphasis is put on Korea market in thispart.Subsequently it introduces the history and scale of China credit market. Thepaper mainly analyzes the existing problems of China credit market in terms ofspecial customer market ,credit card bank and card bearer market.At the same time itstudies the causes behind these problems which are :The consumption notion ofChinese consumer is comparetively outdated;The credit card legal system needs to beimproved;Credit cards are single in type and with less functions.The core part of thepaper provides solutions and measures to the future development of China creditmarket which are illustrated in four aspects:Firstly,corporatize the business of Chinesecredit cards;Secondly,set up scientific conception of risk management;Thirdly,payimportance to service;Fourthly,specalize division and process centrally to reducecost.In the last part of the paper a conclusion is given.with the development of scienceand technology and the continuous deepenning application of financial area,thebusiness of credit card will enjoy greater development in way of functions ,systemsand even the whole credit card environment.China credit market has great potentialand prospects.The aim of this paper is to provide measures to the future development of China creditmarket after analyzing existing problems ,in hope of contributing to it.
