The aim of this thesis is to analyze the Chinese Automotive and the New Energy market, focusing on the interaction between the two industries. The analysis of two divergent industries is the will of the author, who carefully analyzes the differences starting from the big industrialization of80s.The analysis reflects two apparently non-congruent industries, the automotive already well established which registers the world highest competition level in the Chinese market, continuously nourished by specific measures and international investments, and a new entrant New Energy industry which even more finds a fertile market in China. This thesis highlights the strategic role of the younger industry in the modern automotive development process as a factor of primary importance in competition, as well as in the whole Chinese manufacturing industry.
