Research On The Strategic Transfers Of Chinese Asset Management Companies

Taking the history logic—from the production to the development to the future transfers of the Chinese asset management companies—as the master line, this paper carries on the real diagnosis analyses and the comparison researches to such companies' movement background, the operation foundation, the operation pattern and the development goal, and deeply studies the asset management company's strategic transfer problems from theory and application aspects.Under the full analyses of the Chinese asset management companies' establishment and their operation backgrounds, it is concluded that the asset management companies are the necessary result out of the unceasing financial reform.According to the thorough analysis to the asset management companies' nature, goal duty, business scope and supervising and managing system, the paper points out that commercial reform, which can heavily influence the development of the Chinese asset management companies, is a way that must be taken.Based on the historical research, the paper refines three evolution stages of the moving pattern of such companies in China.The paper also studies the new change of the non-performing assets market and the difficult problems existing in the companies' movement, uses Porter's five-strength model to analyze asset management company's competition pattern, points out the proper strategic transfers needed by asset management companies.At the same time the paper proposes the three kinds of goal patterns to the development of the companies after the systematical analyses, which mainly focus on the necessity of the continued existence of such companies and the feasibility of the realization of the role innovation.After proposing the great challenge that might appear at the companies' strategictransfers, and using the SWOT model to analyze environmental factors affecting the transfers, the paper formulates the corresponding countermeasure.Finally, the paper puts forward our proposal how China government can support the development of the asset management companies and their transfers.
