Economic Difference In District In GuiZhou Province Research

Economic growth is the basic factor for economy and society's all-round development. Seeing that the county unit, which plays an important role in political and economic life, this article researches the growth discrepancy of regional economy in Guizhou province. And it defines regional economic discrepancy as the unequal periodical economic growth phenomenon reflected by GDP growth rate and personal GDP index.This research divides Guizhou into 82 regions, and compares and analyzes annual regional GDP growth rate and personal GDP with the average level of the same year in Guizhou province from 1949 to 2002. In accordance with the different distribution of regional GDP growth rate and personal GDP on Guizhou's average level in this period, the regions have been divided into four types. They are double high, potential, double low, and dynamic. After analyzing the four economic index' characters, this article also approaches the reasons of regional economic discrepancy on government input, private economy, regional conditions and culture factors.For the above analysis, this article makes four conclusions: the absolute gag is enlarging and the relative gag is reducing, the administration barrier leads polarized areas' expand effect inefficient, the main body of the market is simplistic within regions, the government role is too complicated and to promote the economic growth is still the protruding problem for Guizhou development. The author thinks that the government input is the decisive factor for those regions of low economic level, whose economic growth depend on traditional economic mode; while regional conditions decide the capability to get investment distribution.All in all, the economic problem is the one of person's values. The culture is both the facial phenomenon and the inner core of the economic problem. And the development of private economy reflects the effects of regional marketilized reform.In the end, this article brings forward 5 ways to deal with economic growth. That is to spare no effort to promoting the development of local education, to quicken the steps of government reform in less developed areas, to devote major efforts to developing the private economy, to enlarge the administration divisions of polarized areas and to reexamine the development location of less-developed areas. In view of these four types, this article also raises basic thinks and policy suggestions to promote the economic growth.
