Feasible Exploitation Mode Of Forest Ecotourism Products

The forest ecotourism is an important part of the ecotourism system. Since 1990's, the ecotourism in many countries of the world, including in China, has make rapid progress at the rate we had never known. In 2003, the direct economic income of Chinese ecotourism reached 4.189 billion RMB yuans, which increased more than 22 percents than in last year, and went far beyond the total level of the national economy development. However, the problems came forth in succession during the products exploitation of the forest ecotourism all over the nation. The hotels and restaurants built in the famous JiuZhaiGou national forest park have heavily threatened the natural environment and made some of the lakes polluted. In order to conserve the natural environment, the park had to demolish 100,000 square meters of commercial buildings within the landscape spot from the year of 2003. The direct economic loss because of this project would be 1.2 hundred million RMB yuans. The ZhangJiaJie national forest park, known as one of the international natural heritages, has been rigorously warned because water in the park was polluted continuously. So the local government decided to demolish all the buildings within the park, almost 340,000 square meters, from November of 2001. About 1 billion RMB yuans of the economic expense had to pay for it. The datum is shocking by the slight. Moreover, there are much more similar cases in the whole nation.Then, why would these problems happen? What should be the social springhead of the problems? How to exploit the products of the forest ecotourism? If there are some feasible modes we can use for reference during the products exploitation of forest ecotourism? And so on. The practice is waiting urgently for the answers given by the theoretics. Because the forest ecotourism was developed late in our country, all these problems were mostly discoursed, but were not researched systemically yet.The paper began with the concept of general products, firstly brought forward the concepts and connotations of the attribute and structure of the tourism products, and categorized the ecotourism products and the forest ecotourism products. To expatiate the importance of the environment conservation in ecotourism, the concept of idiosyncracy of the forest entironment was firstly stated, and the characteristics of the forest ecotourism resources were reviewed and studied from different points of view. On the base of plentiful investigation, the paper analyzed systematically different ideas and public opinions on the products exploitation of forest ecotourism, and summarized them as "market oriented doctrine" and "environment protectionism", furthermore, analyzed and researched the social background, theoretic foundation and responsive population of these two thoughts. Accordingto the ideas of "everything should fit to the facts" and "individual problems should be solved individually", feasible developing modes fitting for the six large forest ecotourism products were offered in the paper, and the six above-mentioned developing modes were verified by comparison and analysis of the LiShan national forest park.
