The Analysis On How Alterations In Chinese Residents' Consumption Construction Affect Economic Growth Since 1978

With the development of our country's economic system reforms,how to promote economic growth firmly, constantly and quickly becomes the focus of study. As an important economic index,consumption demand plays a decisive role in a position to national economy. Especially consumption construction is one of the main fact that affect economic growth,and its alterations affect economic growth through industial construction.Firstly this paper interprets the basic definitions and theories ,then it analyses how the consumption construction of Chinese residents in urban and rural areas affects economic growth through industial construction from 1978.There are two stages in this paper from 1978 to 2003,namely 1978-1991 and 1992-2003.In each stage , the paper respectively analyses how consumption construction of urban residents and rural residents affects economic growth through industial construction in detail,and draws a conclusion.Alterations of consumption construction effectively promoted economic growth through the alterations of industrial construction from 1978-1991. But from 1992-2003, industrial construction didn't adjust according to the alterations of urban and rural residents' consumption construction, and hindered economic growth.Therefore, we should improve the consumption construction and adjust industrial construction according to the demands. As a result, we can make economic growth constant and quick.
