The UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 (also Green International Conference) has started a new upsurge of the green revolution. Green industries have been rapidly developed, and green garments make a new trend dominating the international trade of textile & garment. Meanwhile, green marketing arises at the historic moments and has been rapidly developed in some developed countries. Studies on green marketing should be enhanced in national textile & garment industry, which will lead to a better exploring in the market space.This dissertation presents that 21~st century is a green century, in which the green barrier graduates into a being strengthened non-tariff wall, and that the formulation of green standard makes the essential guarantee of the international textile & garment trade. This dissertation also gives introduction to the definition of the concept of green marketing, the basic processes to carry on green marketing and the reasons for green marketing in textile & garment industry. The origin of the "Oeko-Tex Standard 100", its main points and the significance in its implementation are also offered in this dissertation.This dissertation presents simultaneously the current state of implementing the series of IS014000 Standards in European countries, America, and Japan as well. This dissertation also offers the views on the problems existing in the implementation of green marketing. And the suggestions on the implementation of green marketing are further given from the perspectives of government, enterprises and society. To begin with, the government ought to perfect the rules and regulations, pursue the green marks, reinforce the macro-management and give aid to green industries. Furthermore, enterprises should develop the notion of green marketing, collect green information, exploit green products, set green prices, select channels for green marketing, intensify service of green marketing, start green pushing sales and the rest. In addition, the society needs to establish some green organizations, enhance the scientific propaganda regarding the green environmental conservation, and develop the greenawareness of consumers. Together with the social control, the cooperation between colleges and enterprises is to be strengthened. And the results of the scientific research on textile & garment industry have to be converted into the real productive forces.
