Issues On The Chambers Of Commerce Under The Socialist Market Economy

There are market failure, government failure and social failure under the socialist market economy. It is necessary to make the socialist market economy mechanism perfect by setting up and developing the chambers of commerce. Under the socialist market economy, chambers of commerce are independent intermediary organizations. Under our socialist market economy, we should insist on this mode in developing the chambers of commerce: hosting by non-governmental organizations, supporting by government, and leading by the Communist Party of China. During the process of perfecting the functions of the chambers of commerce,we should lay strong emphasis on developing their functions of serving and managing, and playing their positive roles among the socialist economic activities.
