Coal is the major energy source of our country, the security of the Coal enterpriser is the hot point since a long time. It is very difficult to the wireless electric wave propagation because of its special environment, and it is also very complex for the mine communication. The communication is very important to safety production, workforce schedule and information collection etc. so it needs to consider all kinds of electric wave propagation characteristic in order to build the mine communication system, and realize the flexible ,fast and effective communication to the different characteristic under the mine.This paper studies on the propagation characteristic of electric wave based on the special environment under the mine, take an example as rectangle hollow tunnel, adopts the Free space of radio waves propagation loss modulus in the near field; adopting the tunnel waveguide mode theory in the far field, analyzing the characteristic of wireless electric wave in the limited space, complete the analysis to the effect factor of wireless propagation characteristic, and it draws some valuable conclusion and proposals the loss mode related to electric propagation in the far field. According to the propagation mode for near field and far field, it proposals a mix forecasting mode, it uses least square algorithm to bring into error loss mode and build the mix loss revising mode based on this. It uses Matlab to make the simulation and proved the reasonable of this method by the compare of experiment data and the simulation cure, and it builds a strong theory basis for the communication under the mine.
