Information hiding is a research hotspot in information security. As a complementary methodology to encryption techniques, information hiding has some advantages in the applications of information privacy and copyright protection. Channel coding improves information transmission reliability by using redundancy code data. With the advent of the 3G era, it has more and closer relationship between communications technology and the Internet. Therefore, the research on information hiding is of great significance to country security and social stability.At present, little research has been done in channel coding based information hiding transmission system. Those algorithms evaluated accurate capacity according to simulation result without theoretical analysis of capacity of information hiding exist. On the other hand, the algorithms are tested under the ideal channel instead of the widely used Rayleigh fading and Rician fading channel Transmission System. The main work and contributions of this thesis are as follows:First, the thesis analyzed the fundamental principle and the feasibility of channel coding based information hiding transmission system. It analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the state-of-the-art algorithms. The theoretical capacity model is established for the channel coding based information hiding transmission system, and the accurate capacity is estimated according to the size of source data, the manner of channel coding, the error-correcting code of secret messages, and error rate of the channel. It increased the reliability and security of the channel coding based information hiding transmission system.Second, this thesis simulated the channel coding based information hiding algorithm. The algorithm controlled the capacity of secret messages in the sending, designed the algorithm of embedding and extraction. The security of the channel coding based information hiding transmission system is investigated. The security of the channel coding based information hiding transmission system is validated via statistical models.Finally, the channel coding based information hiding transmission system is implemented. The Rayleigh fading and Rician fading channel Transmission Systems are simulated. In this system simulated the RS code and convolution code based information hiding transmission. It is shown by experimental results that the capacity of channel coding based information hiding transmission system is well consistent with the theoretical expectation.
