For the trend of the instrumentation develops to the advanced products, this thesispresents and realizes a kind of flush bonding development platform based on MCF52259microprocessor which makes the using of instrumentation more convenient. This systemintegrates a variety of technologies, such as embedded system, USB communication protocol,Ethernet communication and VFD display. Through the data transmission of the USB andLAN module, it achieves the communication of the advanced instrumentation and externaldevice. The whole platform has the advantages of high-speed and real-time. So it can bewidely applied to the development of various instrumentations.As to the hardware, this thesis used the MCF52259 microprocessor of the Freescalecorporation as the control chip of the system, For the application, this thesis also designs themodule of keyboard, display, SD data storage card, USB communication and LANcommunication. The keyboard and display module take the HT16511 as the control chip.Precision Instruments MSP430 and the main chip acquisition module via SPI interface.Thekeyboard and the display chip are connected with the master chip by the imitation SPI bus.The SD data storage card module is connected with the master chip through the QSPI bus.Through the LAN communication and the USB communication modules, the instrumentationplatform can transport high capacity data to the PC.As to the software, theμC/OS-II operating system is transplanted to the microprocessorMCF52259 and all the driver program of hardware modules is wrote based on the embeddedsystemμC/OS-II. Based on the driver program, this thesis designs the application program ofthe application modules, such as VFD display program, data storage program of SD card,USB communication and network communications. This platform uses the temperaturemeasurement to verify the design features of the instrumentation platform. In the network communication module, it takes MCF52259 as the server and takes PC as client to send thecontrol command or receive the data.The test result of this system indicates that it works normally and reaches all the designgoals. This also proves that the method is feasible, and the system can be used widely foradvanced instrumentation as a solution for data storage and communication.
