In recent years, the continuation of base stations is increased with the rapid development of mobile communication services. To meet the communications needs in remote mountainous and border Gobi areas, the unattended monitoring systems, which was used to obtain the working condition of power-supply system in distributed communication base stations and to make sure the unimpeded communication, the unattended monitoring system is indispensable.With the continuous development of Ethernet technology, combined with Ethernet embedded system which is applied in the industrial control area has become a trend. An embedded system based on industrial Ethernet real-time monitoring system of power supply is designed in this paper, it is used to monitor the working condition of power-supply system in base stations.This system is composed of upper computer and lower computer. The lower computer accesses the data of power-supply system in base station, while the data in real time is mainly monitored by the upper computer. According to the agreement of the Ethernet, two of them communicate with each other; transmit the data to the monitoring host and monitor the power supply in base station remotely, which are all using in the Ethernet. This system mainly focused on the following aspects: collecting and processing the field data; migrating the embedded real-time operating system, achieving the TCP/IP protocol; designing the application-system-monitoring host and programming the Ethernet driver.The lower computer is composed by 32-bit ARM microprocessor. And its system is used to monitoring and controlling. The monitoring part is accessed and processed the following aspects by A/D: the output voltage / current in solar panels and wind generator, which are monitored in four aspects. On the other hand, the controlling part, which has achieved the power management, transformed the energy into the power and saved it in battery according to the illumination and wind power. And it can also control the PWM output to adjust the discharge of the battery, at last the Wind-solar Hybrid in power supply is achieved.The monitoring system uses the Ethernet controller chip RTL8019AS as the network interface to cut and migrate on uC/OS-II operating system, which also analysiss and achieves the embedded TCP/IP protocol stack in the end. The results have showed that, the data collection and processing.is achieved by the real-time power supply monitoring system, which is based on the embedded industrial Ethernet, ultimately the monitoring of remote data transmission is achieved by monitoring host.
