This paper designs a multi-bus monitoring instrument according to the requirements of Test equipment of vehicles. The instruments can monitor simultaneously three kinds of data which belongs to CAN bus, Parallel bus, SPI bus or UART bus, and storage the error state.The system is divided into Main-module and Sub-module. Main-modules mainly provided computer interface and sub-module interface. Sub-module monitors the bus data and storage the error state in the data transmitting. This paper studies how the computer controls the sub-module by USB interface and how the main module coordinates the Data Communication with the sub-modules. Different monitoring modules of bus are designed through the analysis on Transport Protocol of different buses. It analysis the monitoring modules of the CAN bus primarily and than it represents the designing of CAN-bus monitoring module's hardware and software in detail,and what fomat in the flash storaging the data of bus . The studying the Scheme of high-speed data of Monitoring Module are based on the analysis of FLASH memory property. The paper represent detailed and exactly the scheme that how to improving the speeds of storage based on the sub-module, and how to control flash memory.The system runs steadily and design thought is correct through the multiple simulatle testing to system. The desired functionality of the system is achieved and it achieves the function of bus monitor and error state recording.
