With the advanced development of modern medical imaging technologies such as CT, measurement and analysis of living and organ of human specimen can be realized. In this paper, Human Movement Science combined with the medical imaging approach to analyze the different sports on bone geometry structure. Choose 8 male wushu athletes from the forth National contest of the material arts who mainly to blow off bricks through high impact force by palm wrist (right hand); 6 male professional tennis players; and 6 ordinary people who are healthy. The carpal bones of the 20 subjects were scanned by the spiral CT. It's two-dimensional images were filtered, screening reduced, enlarged, splited, etc. And then the carpal angle ,the gray and area of pisiform and triquetrum were measured, then analysed statistically. The results: (1) The carpal angle in gongli group was smaller than that in tennis and normal group(P<0.05). The carpal angle in tennis group and common group has no significant difference. Self-comparison of the three groups: there was no significant difference of the carpal angle. (2) The gray of the right-hand triquetrum in tennis group was greater than that of left-hand(P<0.05). There was no significant gray difference of the triquetrum of right-hand between gongli and common groups. The gray of the pisiform of right-hand in gongli group and tennis group was greater than that of left-hand(P<0.05). There was no significant gray difference of the pisiform in common group. The self-comparison of area of pisiform and triquetrum were almost equal in the three groups. (3)There was no significant gray difference of the triquetrum between gongli and tennis athletes, while the gray of gongli and tennis athletes was larger than that of common people (P<0.05). The gray of the pisiform of right- hand shows that: gongli group>tennis group>common group(P<0.05). There was no significant gray difference of the pisiform of left-hand between gongli and tennis groups. But the gray of pisiform in the two groups was larger than that of in common group. The area of three sections (coronal, horizontal and sagittal) of the pisiform and triquetrum of gongli group and common group was less than that of tennis plays (P<0.05), but there was no statistical difference in gongli group and common group. The results of this study show that gongli (strength) and tennis sports has a catalytic role on bone growth and bone remodeling, but the gongli sports can more enhance the bone mineral density, and the area of part of carpal bones seldom changes significantly. Through analysis the data of the carpal angle, it confirms that the external stress can affect the shape and structure of bone, and bone structure will have a good adaptive changes following the different movement pattern. By analying the characteristics of the two different sports, it concluded that the carpal angle of gongli athletes is less than that of tennis players and ordinary people, the bone area of tennis player is more than gongli athletes and ordinary people. This imaging data can provide more intuitive and accurate basis to the scientific selection for the athletes, and have referential significance on the modern sporting arena, such as boxing, volleyball, gymnastics or else.
