The research work in this paper was around space environment monitoring and some complex dynamic-testing which have the characteristics of high accuracy and large volumes of data which caused many troubles in the data transmission and storage. The paper focused on how to achieve real-time lossless data compression based on DSP.Real-time lossless data compression techniques based on DSP was researched in this paper, and the hybrid compression algorithm was LZW dictionary compression + run-length compression. A modular design conception was used in the system, and the whole system was divided into data compression module and data acquisition module. In-depth understanding of signal characteristics and combined with data compression of today's cutting-edge technology development, the mixed compression algorithm of LZW and run-length compression has been designed and improved .The algorithm can meet the actual needs and can be used in an actual situation . A combination of run-length compression and LZW compression algorithm that makes the system real-time compression rate improve almost double than simply using LZW compression algorithm. In addition, data compression preprocessing technology has been used in the paper that can effectively improve the compression rate of the system.The data acquisition module can collect sensor output signal, and convert it from analog to digital using DSP's A / D converter, and send the converted digital signal to data compression modules, and send the results to the computer through the USB interface module, and analyze the data after extracting.Finally, simulation experiments were carried out and the collected data was analyzed for storage testing system .The experiment has proved that the system can efficiently compress data that comes from AD converter in real-time.
