USB interface is a bus interface standard. It has won a marketplace approve and been popularized promptly with its obvious benefits, such as very high transfer rate, easy to expand, plug and play and compatibility, and has been widely applied to data transmission and image acquisition. To solve the data communications issue between computer and dynamic testing system which are developed in the laboratory, it puts forward USB2.0 data transmission interface and gets mending in hardware and software, and improves evidently the real-time data transmission speed of USB. It has been successfully applied to the wireless real-time data transmission system and infrared data transmission system, and achieves absolutely the desired objective and functionality of system design.The following aspects of this paper were proposed:First, it analyzes the need about the development of USB communication interface applied in test equipment. Then summarizes the advantages and applications of USB bus. It introduces USB related technologies and characteristics.Second, based on the subject and object, USB2.0 chip CY7C68013A was applied to realize data transmission system based on USB interface technology. According to data transmission requirements between computer and peripheral equipment, the system design plan was etermined, and the hardware and software of the system were designed and realized respectively. Finally, it does the system testing on the system, and tests and analyzes about the USB data transfer rate and its influence factors. It finds the ways and means to raise USB data transfer speeds.Third, It proposes the application scheme that USB technology is applied in wireless real-time data transmission system and infrared data transmission system based on the needs of project which are developed in the laboratory, and expatiates detailedly the realization of the hardware and software in a couple of application systems. It analyses about the key issues encountered in infrared data transmission system and finds the resolvent.
