With the rapid development of Internet and the well development of the P2P technology, the network application has changed greatly, and it has become one of the fastest-growing networking applications. The traffic of P2P file-sharing is probably the most single traffic of the current Internet. According to related statistics, the domestic P2P traffic almost occupies 40% ~ 60% of total Internet business. It provides users with the network service, but also brings the network a heavy burden. For example, P2P traffic brings network congestion and security issues because of long time of data transmission, which has seriously impact on the normal business development of the school and the enterprises. The P2P technology is the trend of the development of the network application in the future. Therefore, how to properly control P2P traffic is the challenge and difficulty we are confronted with.The P2P application field is very wide, and file sharing and real-time streaming media are the most active aspects. The traditional C/S network model which has not clearly client and server, no longer relying on the specified server has been replaced by the distributed network structure. The distributed network structure changes the former center mode and makes full use of the resources of the participants.This paper designed a software interface framework with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 which can be quickly applied to various projects. VS2008 adopts dynamic tab mode, and the interface is simple. Importantly, it can be integrated to C/S and B/S model. the Packet-Capture module is developed by WinPcap packets, which is the transplantation of libpcap from UNIX to Windows. Packet-Capture module can crawl the data packets in the specified period of time. The procedure can identify P2P traffic within a certain range of errors by analysis and statistics many different types of traffic data packets, and reflects the current network real-time traffic characteristics with graphics form.
