In this paper, the temperature control system of ceramic kiln is designed by using Mitsubish PLC and USB data acquisition card. According to the subject and the experiment required, this paper is divided into hardware design and software design two parts.In hardware part, this paper designs mainly connects PLC to computer,computer to USB data acquisition card and PLC to controlled silicon.FX1N PLC is perfect on the important application of size,communication and some special funtions,and have a reasonable price,is high suitable for all kinds of small control. Because USB data acquisition card can be compatible with Visual C++, C++ Builder, Visual Basic, Delphi, etc. function interface, this paper chooses Visual Basic 6.0 to compile control interface.In software part, this paper has designed mainly controls algorithms and control interface, as well as programme. The fuzzy PID control algorithm dominate throughout firing process on the shuttle kiln which assemble the fuzzy control of not relying on accurate mathematical model and the PID control of achieved precise control.The results of laboratory and scene testing show that:the entire control program can be a steady run, and can timely control the controlled silicon's opening according to the kiln temperature and temperature changes in the use of fuzzy PID algorithm. The final experimental results shows that real-time firing curve can better track a given firing curve and the effect of control had achieved the desired purpose.
