Shaftless driven is a new, interdisciplinary and synthesized technology, It's a combination of electric transmission, network communication, automatic control and mechanism technology. Shaftless driven is characterized by high precision, wide transmission ratio, predigested structure and flexibility. So mechanism transmission can be replaced by shaftless driven to realize exact transmission. Shaftless driven technology has capacious application foreground and plays an important role has capacious application foreground on printing machine, mechanical processing, large synchronized mills and other fields that need synchronized transmission.This paper discussed shaftless driven technology comprehensively, especially the synchronized control strategy. The structure, advantage and disadvantage, transmission precision of two synchronized strategy modes:SMR(Synchronized Master Reference) and ELS (Electronic line-shafting) and the similarities and differences are pointed out in the paper. Many factors need to be considered detailed to make appropriate choice, like transmission requirement, precision, economy and control ability.Controller is the key of a shaftless driven system. The shaftless driven controller can control Synchronized move of multimotor and provide a hardware platform for the realization of the system function. Self-developed shaftless driven controller and master the core technology of shaftless driven that can improve the domestic competitiveness of shaftless driven device.This paper compared parallel controllers and serial controllers, Combined the characteristics and structure of shaftless driven system. For the shaftless driven control system, the control unit of the main station was analyzed. The paper focused on the study of Serial shaft drive controller with SERCOS interface card, designed hardware and software process of the card, provided the master station control functions and the main station drive capability in the shaftless control system. The serial controller with SERCOS interface card can control a large number of control high-precision axis synchronized motion motion, and can realize synchronous operation of shaftless driven system.
