With the work of upgrading and rebuilding for BEPC finished, the test beam which is located at the end of the LINAC of BEPC will subsequently be upgraded. In order to increase the rate of single particle event, and improve the position accuracy and add the ability to distinguish between single particle and double particles event, a plastic scintillating fiber array detector will be adopted and instead of MWPC(multi-wire proportional chambers). In this thesis, the data acquisition circuit for linear CCD is designed and researched, based the need of developing scintillating fiber array detector.The work is a part of the electronics read-out system for scintillating fiber array detector.In this thesis, the preliminary design of the scintillating fiber array detector is introduced. The basic design requirements and the role of linear CCD in the whole system are clarified. After analyzing the work principle and the noise characteristics of linear CCD, two kinds of linear CCD has been selected and studied, and the design of data acquisition system for each CCD are given.For Toshiba's TCD1001P, two channels for data acquisition was designed. In the Design, the main control unit is accomplished by FPGA and the hardware is described with Verilog HDL to generate the driver timing of CCD and the control signals. In view of the chip's features, the differential amplification circuit and low-pass filter is designed to pre-processing its output signal, and then transform the A/D converted data to the computer.through the USB2.0.The DALSA's high-performance linear CCD,IL-C6-2048C,is selected and a eight channels CCD data acquisition circuit is designed for it. The preamplifier and special-purpose integrated chip are choosed to process the output signals,which improves the accuracy and stability of signal processing.After the sutble control for the various signals of special-purpose integrated chip, the driven timing signals for CCD, the signal wiring, and the power supply filtering,a stable digital image was obtained in the PC with the gain and bias can be adjusted online.
