The Design And Development Of Embedded Web Server Of Dam Safety Monitoring System

Dam safety monitoring has a immeasurable effect towards the longtime running of the dam. Getting the dam's status in real time will be important in productivity and people's life. The Dam safety monitoring system use C/S model traditionally and the monitoring instrument is lack of uniform access interface. When analyzed the defect and insufficient, we studied a new Dam safety monitoring system basing on web technology and embedded system technology. Designed a embedded web server of this system.The following are summaries of the studying:First, after researching the current situation of the development trend of dam safety monitoring system, this paper analyzed and pointed out the limitations of traditional dam monitoring system, then analyzed the structure, requirements and each module's functions of the embedded web server.Secondly, According to the functional requirements of the project, The Design program of the embedded web server are given. At the same time, the embedded processor module, Ethernet communication module and storage module were designed.Thirdly, we depicted the idea of the designing. combined with the hardware circuit, designed and accomplished the function of the low level program. built up a embedded Linux development environment, migrated and configured the U-Boot, PHP, sqlite3 and the mongoose web server.Finally, using the cross-development environment tested the prototype of the system. Analyzed the reliability and stability of the web server by a professional testing software.Final testing results and operating results show that the design of embedded web server for the dam safety monitoring system can works very steadily. It meets the needs of the dam safety monitoring system.
