The Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System is full use of advanced technology such as large-scale parallel computing and Wireless Sensor Network to realize the IntelliSense of traffic ,and the coordinated development of person, vechile and road. It substantially increases the utilization and application of the road traffic levels, play an important role in easing the road congestion ,increasing the road capacity and improving the traffic safety, at the same time,it provides a new research direction and development opportunities for the development of related disciplines and industy.This thesis is based on the project of"The research and application of Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure equipment base on the ZigBee".And make research for the key technology of Vehicle Infrastructure Integration which based on the ZigBee.First introduce the development and features of ZigBee,then analysis the research status of the cooperative vehilcle infrastructure technology in both domestic and foreign.Secondly,propose the architecture of CVIS which based on the the cloud computering and WSN,and analysis the applications of Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure technology based on ZigBee in traffic imformation collection, Bus Infrastructure System and Electronic Toll Collection.Then,analysis the ZigBee routing protocol using in commonly. Proposed a improved algorithm based on LEACH algorithm.it makes some changes in two parts:cluste head election and distribution of clusterhead.The new algorithm can effectively reduce energy consumption of the network,it is very use of the Vehicle Infrastructure Integration network.Fourthly,design a AT-ZigBee hardware platform for the vehicle integrated and road integrated,using the microprocessor ATmega128L and the RF chip CC2420.Introduce the modules of interface,process,wireless communication.Make a hardware test and analysis the problems at last.Next,design the software based on the AT-ZigBee hardware platform.Describe the Hardware Interface Driver and ZigBee protocol stack in detail.Finally,the AT-ZigBee platform has been tested to verify the feasibility of hardware platform and software.
