In the B3G/4G network environment, the future telecommunication services will be featured with the ubiquitous, integrated, and intelligent cooperative characteristics. According to users'requirements, the service platform will capture the current environmental information and personal data of the users to provide the personalized services. Context is any information that characterizes the situation of an entity Service context information usually refers to the information that will affect the service execution.At present, both context information processing framework and modeling mechanism are hot research topics of context-aware systems. This paper proposed a model for context-aware system to enable the development of context-aware application. This system separates the context-awareness application development from the acquiring and modeling of context information. And this model supports the inquiry, storing, fusion, reasoning of context information and makes it easy to develop context-aware applications to increase reusability. The proposed framework uses the semantic web ontology language to build context information ontology models to support the sharing and reasoning of context information, and uses HP's Jena development toolkit to manipulate ontology models.Firstly this paper introduces the current research situation of context-awareness computing briefly. Then, a brief introduction of related technologies, like context information, ontology, is provided. In the following part, the structure of context information processing platform and the modeling and storing scheme of context information based on ontology are presented. Then this paper depicts the mechanism of context information collecting, modeling, and inferring. Finally, the functions of this platform are verified through an e-medical service scenario.
