Abstract/Summary:
With the convergence of networks and the opening of telecommunications market, a fierce competition formed in the market. Fast and flexible network management capabilities are required in the field of network management. So network management system is developing gradually from a structure and function emphasized, solidified system to a flexible, extensible and service-oriented one.The functions of a traditional network management system are closely coupled with its' management objects. This cannot meet the demands on network management systems in plenty of emerging new telecommunication services. Once the management objects changed, for example when increasing some new telecommunication services, the adjustment speed of the management system may slow down and cost expensively, it may even worse lead to rebuilding of the original system and the data.Although web service technology applies to network management, which separates management functions from management objects, the efficiency of the web service based network management system is influenced by lack of available information acquired from the counterparts, between management systems and management services, which results in the blindness of network management systems in the process of service discovery and service composition.In such background, the author puts forward the semantic web based network management service processing mechanism, which is analyzed in two aspects. On the one hand, the author puts forward the semantic web based network management architecture, which makes semantic description of the network management service by means of semantic web and web service, it can help realizing the service publication, service query and service composition, and then realizing interoperation between services based on semantic information. On the other hand, with the increasing of the providing services of same or similar functions in the service register center, and there may have more service compositions to realize one object, which reduce the efficiency of service query and service composition,in order to solve such a problem, the author introduces the data mining technology into service register center, realizing the service classification, service cluster and service association analysis. Finally, apply semantic web based network management service processing mechanism to the SDH network management, designing and implementing an SDH network management prototype system.
