Designing A Fixed And A Mobile Peer-to-Peer Vedio On Demand System Suitable For Telecom Operator

The 21st century is a new era of information technology. With the rapid development of information, communication is playing a more and more important role in our society.With the requirement and application of communication, peer-to-peer (P2P) technology generated and is being ued rapidly and widely.This paper introduced the theory and normal application of P2P, and also introduced characteristic and key technology of mobile P2P. This paper provides a fixd P2P video on demand (VOD) system, which is suitable for telecom operator to build and develop P2P streaming meida service.This P2P VOD system can help optimize traditional P2P network. This fixed P2P VOD system is suitable for telecom operators to build fixed P2P network, and also can help telecom operator optimize traditional P2P network, restrict the flow among regions effectively, increase the quality of network of telecom operators and also decrease the cost of flow going out. This paper also provides a mobile P2P VOD system, based on the analysis of architectures of mobile P2P network.For the first time, function and architecture of every component of mobile P2P system is described in detail and the working progress is also described definitely.lt can be a guide for telecom operators to plan and build mobile P2P networks.The work and the contributions are outlined as follows.(1) The relationship of P2P network and traditional telecom network is dicussed.Base on it, this paper provides a fixed P2P VOD system.This fixed P2P system, which is suitable for telecom operators,contains the architecture of the system,the function of every part,the proposal mark for service,the scenes for application service,the working progress of the system and the design of the teminal.(2) The analysis of architectures of mobile P2P network is discussed. Base on it, this paper provides a mobile P2P VOD system. The mobile P2P system can be based on WCDMA or TD-SCDMA,also can support HSDPA,HSUPA and HSPA.Function and architecture of every component is described in detail and the working progress is also described definitely.(3) Problems such as prppagation of worm in fixed P2P network and consumotion of energy by mobile P2P network are emulated by MATLAB 7.1. Consequently,from the analysis and discussion of the emulation,method of control the propagation of worms in fixed P2P network and method to decrease the consumption of mobile P2P network can be obtained.This paper discusses fixed and mobile P2P network.lt has great value for telecom operators to buid and optimize P2P network.
