A Study On The Architecture Of Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web

Nowadays,the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network is a widely spread network,but the retrieval of information in the existing P2P networks is still restricted to the keywords exact match,do not support fuzzy queries.In order to improve the scalability and the ability of partial-match queries in the P2P network to achieve the semantics sharing of information resources in the P2P network,this paper takes adavantage of Semantic Web technologies into the Peer-to-Peer network to process the contents of information in the peers based on semantic,and then to explore the construction of the Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web.First of all,the research status on the Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web both at home and abroad is analyzed,and based on it,this paper explores the concept of the Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web,its characaters and the problems,which the Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web is supposed to solve.Then according to the target of designing the Semantic P2P Web,the paper initially designs a type of the semantic hierarchical structure and the architecture of the Semantic P2P Web between peers.Particularly,three peer functional modules in the peers are described in details,which consists of the peer resource management module,the retrieval system(implementation and communication modules) and semantic management Module.And then the key technologies to achieve semantic Peer-to-Peer Web is also discussed.Finally,this paper discusses the problem of the knowledge sharing in digital library in the Semantic P2P Web,then describes the composition of the Knowledge Commons for Digital Library based on the Semantic P2P Web and the process of its knowledge sharing.Through preliminary exploration on semantic peer-to-peer Web,this paper hopes to provide references for the following studies on the construction and the use of the Semantic Peer-to-Peer Web.
