The Harvest And Integration Services Of Center Data Repository Based On Multiprotocal

With the development of Internet and the growing of amount of various types of digital resources, such as Ebooks,electronic journals, multimedia data, the Data Respository which can supported various types of digital resources and sharing information with other Data Respository, had attracted Digital libraries'attention.Currently, most of the Institutional Respositorys provided limited resources of the metadata, such as dissertations and electronic journals, services of the object data is not enough. Based on the reseach of OAI protocol and METS standard, the author designed the Center Data Respository System based on multiprotocal.The Center Data Respository System not only can provide the harvest services of metadata based on OAI protocol, but also can provide the harvest services of object data based on METS standard. The Center Data Respository System not only can harvest data from other Institutional Respositorys, but also can be harvested by other Institutional Respositorys through integrated local digital resources.Besides, the Center Data Respository System integration services with other digital library system.Firstly, this paper made an in-depth research of the OAI protocol, METS standard and the OSSs used in this system, and then made a detail introduction of design of the Center Data Repository system.By use of OSSs, finished the Center Data Repository System, which implemented metadata and objectdata harvest based on OAI protocol and METS standard, system management and log management.Besides,the system provided integration services for the Metadata Processing System and the Unified Search System by interface call.Finally, the paper made a summary for the Center Data Respository System, and proposed some suggestions for later research.
