A Study Of Internet Users's Opinion And It's Control Strategy

The Internet users express their feelings and opinions and discuss major social issues on Internet, which referred to be an open and important public platform. Through discussion, the Internet user's opinion merges into a well-recognized and unified public opinion, which is regarded as Internet User's Opinion (IUO).The Internet users'opinion (IUO) has opened up a new way and channel to express public opinion and supervise government in the age of Internet. In this platform, people express their public attitudes, participate economic activity, and supervise government by their voice. Nowadays in China, the Internet users have gradually embarked on a legitimate public policy-making arena and beginning to lead public opinion and thus affect government decision-making as an important force. Therefore, a throughout study on IUO makes great influence on the development of democratic politics of China, which deserve our in-depth thinking and research.Currently, the mainland academic make less research achievements on IUO, especially lack of monograph. This paper starts discussion through real cases and new ideas, and makes in-depth analysis of the concepts, functions and types of IUO based on the Communication Theory and other related theories which are also combined with the current situation of IUO. This paper makes the definition of IUO and studies the difference compared with traditional methods of expressing public opinion along with classic cases which enables the research more realistic and more convincible. The article also has studied the evolution of IUO and in-depth analysis of the network of positive and negative effects of entire society. Furthermore, this paper proposes, based on the previous discussion, to help the government and the media more reasonably guide IUO to make sure it is always in the right direction. Finally, the IUO should become a useful reference for the government consulting, fill the existing institutional weaknesses, and promote social and democratic progress as a strong driving force.Beyond conventional summary of IUO, the innovation of this paper is an integrated and comprehensive summary including discussion of the general process of IUO. It helps the public more rationally utilize networks and appropriately express their opinions, so that the IUO could be able to develop toward a more rational way which will benefit the society eventually.
