| This paper attempts to study a village newspaper - "Jialingjiang Daily", which is located in Beibei District of Chongqing, the Republic of China. Through analysis of the modernization process of China's modern rural, this research is conducted to study the important value of "Jialingjiang Daily" as a mass media in the experimental reform. From showing the history, characteristics, the media strategy of Jialingjiang Daily, the thesis is about to explore communication methods in rural areas and the way to help farmers with modern Enlightenment.The article of Jialingjiang Daily is as a case study, to summarize and investigate its communication mode. From newspaper background, started publication, purpose, four aspects of editing and distribution operations, the article is going to a comprehensive research and a positioning; Then, studying Jialingjiang Daily in the text itself, from the transmission, content and audience to conduct qualitative research on the newspaper. In quantitative research, comparative analysis of some stages, from the quantity to do statistics, comparison between different periods of the media text to describe the characteristics of news content. While the theoretical framework, from the national consciousness and the modern character of both changes in the text hidden behind the deep ideology.The thesis applies the theory of media and the study means of news career, along with the historic style, even more extensive evidence, to analyze Jialingjiang Daily. Specially speaking, the thesis will analyze Jialingjiang Daily's course to start publication through editors, content features and modes of transmission, and then explore Jialingjiang Daily on civilian structures in the region major role in the public space, as well as the existence of the newspaper by how to enlighten people in the spirit.There are two main innovations of this article. First, the re-interpretation of the historical data——Article of Jialingjing Daily by the original text sorting. Starting from the case studies, re-building the original appearance of Rural Transformation in Beibei, Republic of China. Second, an innovative research perspective. the combination of two theories of modernization and nation-state paradigm, the use of sociology, anthropology, history, communication and other multi-disciplinary research perspective, the paper interprets Jialingjing Daily as a social and cultural phenomenon, and try to make a cultural and historical positioning as accurately as possible. This article is divided into five sections, Introduction, text chapters(three sections), and conclusion. The first part of the introduction, discusses the significance of this study, the academic, research perspective and methodology, the definition of key concepts and literature review. The second part, including the background of the rural experiments in Republic China, and the Symposium of dissemination of ideas to explore, by tracing Jialingjiang Daily the birth of the historical background and ideological source. The third part of the body is stepping to the newspapers, mainly from content staging, editing features, as well as distribution and management to fully observe and analyze the characteristics of the newspaper. Part IV focuses on the content of the newspaper text discourse analysis, the main change from the modern nation-state and two dimensions of Jialingjiang Daily. Beibei , the rural society from the traditional to the modern role of the process. Last part of the dessert is the final conclusion and positioning of the newspaper and the follow-up study on the prospects. |
