Cognitive users can opportunistic access the idle channels which not being temporarily used by primary user for data transmission by using cognitive radio technology.It can solve the problem which surge in demand for spectrum while the scarcity of spectrum resources. Therefore, cognitive radio technology has being extensive researched by more and more scholars at home and abroad. In this paper, the main study is spectrum allocation strategy which is one of the key technologies of cognitive radio.The spectrum allocation principles and types of cognitive radio technology have been studied in this paper and focused on analyzing four classical model of the current spectrum allocation strategy in cognitive radio.This paper introduced the stable marriage matching method into the cognitive radio spectrum allocation strategy. Propose a spectrum allocation algorithm based on matching, through the design of priority criteria for preferred of secondary user to spectrum and priority criteria for preferred of spectrum to secondary user. Simulation analysis show that the proposed matching-based allocation strategy for cognitive radio has benefits of simple computation, fast convergence, system in high-satisfaction.From the analysis of the latest auction mechanism, this paper proposed a spectrum allocation algorithm based on sequential auction. In this algorithm,grading the secondary users and spectrum and the secondary users auction the spectrum in the form of cluster. At the same time, this algorithm designs a method of spectrum reallocation to improve the spectrum utilization. The secondary users in cluster allocate the spectrum in direct proportion and a optimal bid function of each secondary users is find to improve the secondary users gain. Through analyzing of theory and simulations ,this algorithm has the advantages of improving system throughput, spectral utilization and guarantee the fairness between clusters and so on.
