The Research Of Automatic Management Technologe Tolapai Based Home Network

With the development and perfection of information technology and broadband technology, appliances began to have network connectivity and data communication capability through various built-in embedded chip and processor. In the near future, different types of home appliances such as television, refrigerator, washing machine and other appliances will become network terminal in digital home network. The Digital Home Networking can connect various information terminals, provide the function of compositive voice, data, multimedia, control, management and so on, in order to make the information circulate and share sufficiently between family interior terminal and exterior network, and between with family interior terminal. The objective of home network is to integrate all kinds of home devices, such as communication devices, home appliances and home security devices, into an intelligent home system. Based on the home system, home information and appliances can be centrally or remotely monitored, controlled and managed.To satisfy the need of an intelligentized home network of ordinary domestic consumers in an information-based society, this article firstly studied the system functions to be achieved and the relevant technical requirements and the main problems and solutions in establishing and managing a home network system, then analysised in detail the process of client host visiting information appliance outside of and inside of home network throuth home gateway; secondly, constructed a structured and layered automatic management system of home network in the base of Tolapai develop board, to make the system have very good expansibility and can be expanded and modified very easily according to requirements, thereinto introduced in detail the hardware system and software architecture and the function of each software module. And lastly, designed and implemented the key module of the system, which is the network traffic monitoring module.
