With the rapid development of network technology and increasing promotion, Internet has become a major information resource of many organizations, and the study of network topology is in full swing. However, people can not grasp the full complexity of network topology structure and real-time monitoring of the network was found to be an important means to discover network topology. At present, many research institutions have deployed a number of monitors worldwide, but the deployment location and the number of deployed monitors have remained as important issues for discovery of a complete network topology. Deployment and maintenance cost incurred also makes the work less efficient, and hard to implement in practical applications.This paper studies the AS topology monitoring key techniques for optimization of AS topology point of the deployment to monitor issue, based on the shortest path tree SPT algorithm. The method drawing on the Internet shortest path routing the idea of using greedy heuristic strategy, using the shortest path tree routing node, edge, covering the whole network all the links, which can be found in an approximation of the smallest set of nodes in this set of AS above, the deployment of monitoring points can be found in a more complete network topology information. At the same time, for the topological data collection needs, proposed AS monitoring system design, chooses to optimize the monitoring node, in the autonomous domain added to the system network topology visualization capabilities to achieve the two nodes in the node search and mapping capabilities to ensure the good with the back-end database server, interactive, enabling the completion of the entire system can be a very good drawing of network topology and real-time updates can be more user-friendly querying. Therefore, its research and development of practical application are valued. As the Internet continues to grow and upgrade its network monitoring capabilities will be more perfect, the performance will also be increased dramatically.In conclusion, this study of the Internet autonomous domain monitoring systems and security monitoring technology, optimize the AS topology monitoring system for monitoring the deployment of the key points put forward a valid solution for promoting the AS topology monitoring the research and monitoring point of the deployment of the engineering of a certain theoretical and practical significance and application value. This made its findings and conclusions gone through CAIDA project, real-AS Links of data validation to ensure their accuracy.
