With the rapid development of science and technology and the frequent use of various stealth technology and electronic interfering technology, the old single- sensor data-collecting system can no longer meet the needs of modern war, and it will be gradually replaced by multi-sensor one. To create such a system, the precise and correctness of the data collected must be ensured, which serves as the basis of later data fusion. Therefore, the fusing result at the data lever will directly decide the performance of the whole system. This paper will focus on the development of a multi-sensor data fusion system used for the ground target in a ground battlefield.Since the data collected through a multi-sensor system will become insufficient after primary treatment, the author intents to design a multi-sensor data fusion program to solve this problem. First, the cascade structure with feedback is used as the fusing structure, which is serial in time and parallel in space and adjusts to fusion parameters timely through feedbacks. Then, Second-order constant acceleration motion model is used to predict the target's position and Associated-range of Ellipse is used to achieve Rough association. When Rough association fails to complete the whole association processing, improved association algorithm is applied to achieve Precision association. In the end, Voting method and DS ( Dempster_Shafer evidence theory) are used to deal with data fusion, and GBA (dynamic generalize believe assignment) is applied to allocate credibility. In addition, several groups of simulated data are fused through the system. The testing result proves that associated processing can effectively distinguish state of motion and single crossing or mul-point crossing motion model, and the system can greatly reduce the Variance of all-data and improve the steadiness and precise of the data.In conclusion, the next priority of this research is to achieve the data fusion of fast-moving target,to further reduce fusing error and better its effect.
