Silver nanoparticles coat polyquercetin (Qu) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) complex films were prepared using an electrochemical coupling strategy on platinum electrode (Ag/Qu/MWCNTs/Ch/Pt). The new composite material was characterized by means of field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical techniques. Ag/Qu/MWCNTs/Ch/Pt showed an excellent catalysis towards the redox of L-Cysteine (CysH) compared with the bare Pt and MWCNTs/Ch/Pt. The interference effects of 18 amino acids to the determination of CysH were investigated due to coexistence in biological samples.A novel molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) based on chitosan/nafion/nano-silver/poly quercetin compounds was prepared for clenbuterol (CLB) sensing at paraffin-impregnated graphite electrode (WGE) (MIP-CNSQ/WGE), which was characterized by means of FE-SEM, infrared spectra (IR), XPS and electrochemical techniques to confirm the formation. The electrode was successfully applied to the determination of CLB with a detection limit of 1×10-7 mol·L-1.
