Sensor technology is the basis of information acquisition. For smart sensor represents an important development trend and is the leading one in information technology. As signal processing is one core of smart sensor technology, it is of great theoretical and practical signification to research the signal processing technology for smart sensor.Firstly, sensor architecture and development trend are introduced, then the smart sensor characteristics and structure are overviewed. Considered the important influence of AC power on national economy, the research on signal processing for AC voltage/current smart sensor is educed. Secondly, the traditional method to test the AC voltage/current RMS U/I and initial phaseθu0/θi0, and the impact of noise on the test precision of the AC power characteristic parameters are analyzed. Then based on the error LMS and correlation analysis principium, the approaches to obtain the AC parameters are presented. Thirdly, the effect of some key AC power sample data on the test precision of the AC power characteristics is studied. Then the ways to estimate the key sampe data based on the error LMS and Lagrange interpolation theory are proposed and researched. With these methods, the test precision is improved, the calculation volume reduced, the hardware simplified and the cost reduced, to meet the acquire of small size, low cost and high performance for smart sensor. Under Windows XP operation system, the the simulation platform for signal processing of AC voltage/current smart sensor is established in Visual C++ integrated development environment. With the platform, many simulation experiments are carried out and the results verify the effective of the approaches.
