Design And Implementation Adaptive Learing Support System Based On Open-Source Learning Platform

For the learning characteristics of students, and to meet the needs of individual learning, adaptive learning has become the development trend of modern distance education. In this paper, study the adaptive learning system development status, and in order to promote the studies of adaptive learning system at domestic in the field of application research, design and implement an adaptive learning support system can provide adaptive functions of learning content presentation. This paper analyzes and compares of four common open-source learning platform as Moodle, Sakai, Atutor, Claroline for the functions in instruction and adaptive learning support. And selected Moodle as the most adaptive learning support extensions of open-source learning platform. By learning style and cognitive ability diagnostic tests, determine student's learning characteristics, and provide the evidence for selection of learning strategies. Based on the theory of learning content management and information processing, design and implement of a visual representation of knowledge points. Combination of learning characteristics and rules of learning strategies, design and implement of adaptive presentation of learning content. Finally, chose the course "modern education technology" as the application case. Through the online survey, study the application effect of this system, and verify the system in the adaptive learning design and implement of scientific study methods and accuracy.
