With the high-speed development of computer-aided design technology, people not only use computer as a visual tool for the product design, but begin to apply machine intelligence to the most important and primary process of product conceptual design, which may inspire the designers to create new products with more originality and higher quality. The method of creative design, based on object evolutionary, refers to a CAD technology which applies evolutionary computation in artificial intelligence to the field of computer-aided design, by perfecting such indicators as the appearance, quality, performance, etc, to improve the present product, further satisfying the clients. As the theory of evolutionary computation develops, this method has been one of most important techniques in the CAD field. Thus, creative design based on genetic algorithm which belongs to the evolutionary computation has been a popular research spot.The animated image is obtained through the observation, extraction, summarization and exaggeration form real people and animals experience。It is more personalized and different form other images, at the same time meets the arts deformation. It is concise and unique, easy to watch and remember . The audience was deeply attracted and unforgettable. Good animation image laids the foundation for box office success. In addition, For the audience and animation products around the consumer it also has a special meaning. 3d animated image design is the production process, technical approach, and design thinking of role,Through the three-dimensional computer graphics technology.It Includes three-dimensional role modeling, materials, design, movements and facial expressions. In the field of digital art, Three-dimensional role becomes more and more significant nowadays.Compared with developed countries, Our 3d technology is much later and have a big gap.As well as Image design in three-dimensional research is lacking. In the design of three-dimensional animated image, there is a lack of innovation national identity.The paper applies the evolutionary computation to the process of the design, introduces a creative design method of three-dimensional animated image, and provides a visual computer-aided design environment system based on nurbs. The main work is as follows: 1. Apply the evolutionary design to the compute aided design of 3d animated image.Through the thought of the compute aided design and method of evolution, the paper applies the genetic algorithms to the process of the conceptual design of 3D animated image, in order to break inertial thinking and give the designer inspiration and imagination to create animated images with more originality.2. Introduce a method of generating cartoon components based on genetic algorithm.Through the analysis and summation of animated images, this paper sorts out the different components of the role, uses the genetic algorithm to generate them, and improves the genetic strategy, gives appropriate fitness function according to the animation image features,improves the method of crossing and mutation based on NURBS shape modification methods so as to enlarge the variety of the population and found a colorful component part bank. The paper represents a method of selecting and combining the various cartoon components in the bank automatically to create all kinds of different styles of the art patterns3. Realize an intelligent creative designing system of 3d animated image.According to the process of compute-aided design of 3d animated image, the paper provides a visual computer-aided design environment system based on the evolutionary computation, using the VC++.net and MAYA(3d cad software) in the platform of Windows XP. The system includes the reconfiguration of model,intelligent components generation, ,the management of models and automatic combination. It can realize cartoon components generation and combination automatically, and may manually change the animated image according to the actual needs in the visual environment.
