With the rapid development of Internet and the widespread use of storage and transport technologies such as printer and scanner, more and more digital multimedia work spread over the Internet rapidly. It causes an easier way to copy and spread the digital multimedia work, and temper them illegally. The copyright of digital multimedia work needs to be protected urgently. Nowadays, the development of the cryptography and the information security technologies has supported the protection of digital multimedia work a lot. But, as a very important information security technology, Digital Watermark technology has provided a strong solution for the protection of digital multimedia work. In this paper, we concluded some of the exist researches on digital watermark algorithm in transform domain, and finished the jobs below for the current development state of digital watermark technology.1. Analyses the basic principles, features, categories and application areas of the digital watermark technology. Reviews the research background, and concludes the recent researching and developing trend of the digital watermark technology.Investigates some algorithms of image digital watermark in transform domain and image scrambling technology. Based on the existed algorithms, we proposed an image digital watermark algorithm combined Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Single Value Decomposition (SVD). In order to improve the performance of SVD related algorithm and the robustness of our algorithm, we pre-processed the watermark image by applying Arnold Transform to it.2. Conducts experiments and tests to analyze and evaluate the proposed algorithm. The results show that our DWT-DCT-SVD based image digital watermark algorithm has strong robustness and good invisibleness. When applying some common signal and image processing such as cutting, rotation and JPEG compression, etc. to the watermarked image, the extracting algorithm still can detect the watermark. Besides, our algorithm has a fast processing speed. The experiment is conducted on Windows XP and MATLAB 7.6 environment.
