As the network grows and multimedia technology advances, the digital informationfaces the challenges from steal and tampering. Digital information security andcopyright protection has been paid more and more attention, so the digital watermarkingtechnology emerged as the times require. As a branch of the information hidingtechnology, with the development of secret communication especially the covertcommunication, digital watermarking applications in the covert communication isvaluable and meaningful. Embedding the secret image information into the carrierimage, transmission with the Internet or proprietary network without being interceptedor decrypted, to provide the rich and valuable information to leaders make the rightdecision.Based on the analysis of principle, characteristics, research status and the existingDigital Watermarking algorithms, the methods of image information hiding areresearched. It is found that the hidden image information amount of the existingalgorithms are not large enough, lack of safe,weak robustness, not satisfied at the covertcommunication. In order to solve the problems, this thesis presents a new digitalwatermarking algorithm based on Arnold Scrambling and Wavelet Transform with thesame size color images.Regarding the human vision features and image correlation, first make thewatermark image which was after Arnold scrambling and carrier image RGB–YIQcolor space conversion; using the wavelet decomposition transform the Y component;Embedded the decomposed watermark image data into the wavelet domain of thecarrier image, complete the watermark embedding. Increase the security of color digitalwatermark by using Arnold scrambling. The same size watermark image carried morequantity information more than grayscale image or small size color image. Based on thesimulation experiment and the salt noise, gauss noise, JPEG compression, rotation andclipping attack experiment, this thesis validates the algorithm has good transparencyand robustness.
