Along with the continuously develop of E-commerce, the business are more and more depend on to achieving the management of sealing and dealing by IT systems. But those systems when problem occurred like less convenience, high cost of maintenance and less manipulation between the different systems. Therefore the application of Web services technique is created, managing the groupware application, which depends on the Web, by creating a universal platform, in order to make communication and connection between the different based companies while avoid the effecting of implement scheme, and also improve the interoperability and reusability of inner software resource in the company.The key of using the Web services is to describe and discover the services, this job is achieved by UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration). The UDDI describes the original data of Web services, and also defines the user needed Web services. LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) provide high performance search capability for management of original data, safer data authentication and distributed data storage. The combination of UDDI and LDAP will provide safer, higher performance and higher trusty Web services registration and discover service.This dissertation will firstly expound the significance of use the Web services as software platform for a company. Secondly, it will introduce the relative technique background during this research, and will emphasize the J2EE structure, the relative Web services technique and LDAP technique.The following part will be the process of analysis the data model of Web services, UDDI and LDAP as well as the mappings between the three of them. Moreover, it will introduce how to save the described data of Web services by using the LDAP, process to register and discover by using the UDDI API. At last, design and achieve a prototype of UDDI registration center which based on LDAP. By using this system, service provider will be able to publish the service information, and the service consumer may find and bind the service by the title and category which depend on the usage of user. Finally, a conclusion of whole dissertation and an expectation of future job will be provided.
