The Design And Implementation Of Java Card Test Platform

With the advantages of smart cards has been growing recognition, it can be said that the applications of smart card has come to various areas, Sharp increase in market demand. But the thing that controdicts sharp increase in market demand of smart card is the development of smart card applications is a complex and long process.The complexity of production and programming difficultly of smart card has not been solved until the emergence of Java Card. However,although the Java Card solves the above problems, but debugging Applet is still a difficult problem, it still need us to solve it urgently.This question prompted us to design and develop a platform which can debug Applet, to improve the speed of debugging Applet. Through analyzing JDWP protocol, JCDP protocol and SUN_JC2.2.1-VirtualMachine protocol and so on, As well as the understanding on Java Card and Java virtual machine operating principle, we Designed and developed a Java Card platform which meets our needs of debugging.The paper describes the designment and development of Java Card debugging platform based on a number of agreements above-mentioned and Java Virtual Machine, and systematic studies, experiments and realizes the key technology of debugging platform. First, It proved the necessity of developing basic on domestic and international background and practical needs.second, briefly addressed basic functions of needs analysis of Java Card debugging platform. Third, after parsing protocols and knowing the design goals, the paper described the development and implementation details in detail, and introduced a number of protocol needed to be followed in the process of developing debugging platform. Finally,the paper made a introduction in detail on the representative function of the debugging platform. The result of successfully achieving designment and realization of debugging platform, it is feasible to develop a Java Card debug platform based on Java Virtual Machine, JDWP protocol and JCDP protocol and so on. The realization of debugging platform improves the speed of process of Java Card producing and debugging, it laid a solid foundation on quickly placing on the market for Java Card, and had a significant Significance for development of Java Card.
