Design And Implementation Of A Network Video Realtime Monitoring System

With the development of computer, network, communication and other techniques, network video monitoring system is widely used in education, government, amusement place, hospital, hotel, gymnasium, and public security. But the existed network video monitoring system has some disadvantages such as the management of cameras' upload data is not accurate and intelligent enough, the auto management of cameras is limited by equipment, and the use of cameras in private networks depends on the configuration of the egress router. To satisfy the large requirement of users, it is necessary to develop a new network real-time monitoring system.In this article, the development and present situation of network video monitoring system are analyzed as well as the streaming media technique and the relevant protocols are introduced. The article proposes a new network video real-time monitoring system based on proxy is proposed. It introduced the design and implementation of catalog server and proxy server in details.The achievements of this article are:1. Solve the problem of managing the cameras in private network. The server can get through the network boundary to access the cameras without depending on the egress router configure anymore.2. Solve the problem of automatic management and configuration of the upload data. The upload data can automatic start or terminate according to the view situation. Also, the upload content and transmission pattern can be changed base on the configuration files.3. Solve the problem of adaption and automatic management of different cameras. The system can be compatible with kinds of cameras, and provides an automatic register mechanism for all cameras.
