The Research About Modern Distance Education Over Satellite Communication

This thesis talks about the research of modern distance education over satellite communication. It studies details of technologies of satellite communication which match to modern distance education, covers with the every aspects of the engineering of satellite station and fulls with the experiences that author got from practice. The thesis includes six parts.The first one is summary. The second one looks into the reality of modern distance education institutions.Next two parts try to analyse DVB and Video Conference, which are the main branchs of distance education. The fifth one gives some simple thoughts about how to build a base station. And the last one proposes the future of the development in communication technology.The thesis pays attention to DVB and the protocols of H.320, H.323. It points out that, preparing for adapting to NGN, satellite network must to enhance the rebuilding in IP technologies with the background that the skynet and the ground network intend to merge. In the other hand, the author gives some opinions about the struction of distance education system. He thinks it is important that paying more attention to the basement construction for the whole project, such as lightningproof measure and power system. The thesis wishes to give some useful information to the related engineer and researcher.
