Effective network application recognition and management can not only make network managers to understand the network operation, but also make them to do adjust and exclusion for network problems appeared to.In addition, the growing p2p flow is quickly engulfing network bandwidth. The rise of various social networks, the network is easy to be violent, reactionary speech. This bad information will be full of the network. The content of network analysis is a very urgent need.But this type of flow is often through cryptographic transmission. The deep packet inspection method is difficult to take effect. This flow we need to use other means of identification. This paper introduces the general packet depth detection method of identification.This paper analyses Netfilter framework in detail which used widely in the Linux firewall. Through nf_conntrack mechanism of Netfilter framework, realized the identification of the encrypted traffic flow.
