As the core protocol of the next generation Internet, IPv6 gets comprehensive approval. The next generation Internet will not succeed without the support and application of the IPv6. Nowadays, a large number of IPv6 deployment has occurred in our country, and therefore we can say that there must be a good prospect in China. But, as the IPv6 is not very mature, we have also faced some difficulties in the process of the application. At present, in the IPv4 environment, DNS allows the net-node which it authorized to send the dynamic updating messages to the DNS itself, updating corresponding records, so we can say that the DNS has achieved the automatic updating function in the IPv4 environment. But in the IPv6 environment, the automatic updating function is in the underway stage, right now there is not a mature plan. This thesis realized a registration & authentication and access control system basing on the DNS domain name in the IPv6 environment. The system manages the net-node (including the servers and the normal users) according to their domain names, and combine the DNS and the network access control function. The system not only realized the automatic updating function to a DNS in the IPv6 environment, but also realized the authentication function to control a net-node accessing the networks. The first chapter of the thesis raises the background of the tasks, introducing the enormous superiority of the IPv6 and the difficulties in the process of the deployment, and at last the chapter introduces the research content of the thesis briefly. The second chapter introduces the development and running environment of the system and the pivotal technique used in the development process. The third chapter introduces the overall design of the system. First it describes the attributes and the functions of the system, and then it separates the system into basic modules. At last it introduces the function of each module in detail. The fourth chapter introduces the design and the realization of each module, and then introduces the deployment of the system.
