With the rapidly growing number of Internet users, a number of shortcomings has exposed in the existing IPv4. In order to solve these problems, IPv6 emerged. IPv6 has many excellent characteristics; in particular the number of IP addresses, security, quality of service, mobility, etc. Compared with IPv4, IPv6 has more obvious advantages.Many characteristics of IPv6 is very important to the development of wireless mobile networks and IPv6 is a major milestone in mobile computing .In the field of IPv6, Mobile IPv6 is the most important part. Mobile IPv6 achieves a complete IP mobility. Because Mobile IPv6 can be easily expanded, it has the ability to meet the requirements of large-scale movement and resolve the mobility problem between the global network and the various mobile access technologies.Mobile IPv6 research is still in its initial stage, part of the mobile solutions theoretical has proposed in the present. In order to achieve Mobile IPv6's ultimate goal and achieve truly global scale Mobile IPv6 network, we still need to complete the following areas .In the development of protocol, we still need further improve IPv6, Mobile IPv6, IPSec, SCTP, Diameter, mobile message control and certification. In the improvement of protocol, we need to research the quality of service and safety issues.Binding update registration is a key point in Mobile IPv6 and it is the technology base of Mobile IPv6 routing optimization. However, banding update registration will bring a series of new security problems, the binding update registration authentication mechanism of MN and CN is the key to solve these security issues. Currently, there are two technical routes to solve the binding update registration authentication, one is based on digital certificate techniques of a third party, and the other is without a third party. Authentication mechanism with a third party faces many problems, for example, deployment difficulties in the world, bandwidth demand, etc. Authentication mechanism without third-party has become the focus of research in this field because the expansion of flexibility to facilitate the rapid deployment of Mobile IPv6 in the world. In this paper, the author adopts the second technical route to study binding update registration authentication mechanism between MN and CN, and on this basis, proposes a novel authentication mechanism -- BHAAMIn this study, include the following aspects.1: Analyze the security threat in Mobile IPv6, based on hacker's location, summed up and classified the security threat which is introduced by mobility.2: Study on the existing weak authentication mechanism (RRP, BU3WAY), analyze its safety...
