Design And Implementation Of Simulcrypt Scrambling System And Off-Line Analysis Software

With the development of China's digital TV industry, many manufacturers have invested in digital television technology and related product development. Simulcrypt scrambling system realizes to scramble and broadcast the TS which can effectively support the operations of pay-TV, and the TS analysis system is an indispensable debugging tool and test instrument for digital video broadcasting system. This paper conducts in-depth study of the related standards and principle of these kinds of equipments, and then respectively proposes two solutions to the simulcrypt scrambling system which based on embedded system and the off-line analysis software which can effectively simulate dynamic real-time analysis, and finally accomplishes the design and the implementation.For the simulcrypt system, this article firstly describes the system's working principle in detail and discussed the system requirements. Then a design based on embedded platform is introduced, which includes network management interface using JAVA Applet technology and TS scrambling module using C programming language under embedded Linux environment. The design completes the network management, data communication, code flow analysis, and CAS communication and other functions. Finally, the simulation tests carry out.For the off-line analysis software, this paper discusses the software requirements after introducing the MPEG-2 system layer standard, and then discusses the design concept and the software features, especially the feature of simulation of dynamic real-time analysis of static documents. In the realization, the software is able to complete the reqired functions, and can display the real-time results to the user. Finally, the software simulation tests carry out.At present, the design of the two software has been completed and implemented, including hardware and software, and both systems show their good performance in the field test. However, there are several deficiencies, the summary and improvement advice are discussed at the end.
