In current computer-based-education field, the general concern about how to achieve better interaction on promoting both teaching and learning to achieve maximum utilization of network resources is uprising;such research projects are just started in domestic liberal arts colleges.In this paper, after a full investigation and analysis over the online teaching demand of China Youth College for Political Sciences,problems were found in existing campus teaching services, especially the deficiency of interaction mechanism.Upon the basis of software engineering principles and ideas,this paper introduced an interactive Web site of network teaching system solution, designed and implemented the "China Youth College for Political Education Interactive Website" system, which realized the system with individual modules featuring teaching interaction, cross-platform, multi-functional and easy to use.Instructors can build curriculum online, and students can collaborate online participating in building this online learning system.This project is designed to make up the lack of interaction of current teaching application platform, complemented the existing courseware systems.This makes it a realization of the advanced interactive teaching platform in the information era of education.This article described the following parts:1.Demand analysis of the teaching service network in China Youth College for Political Sciences, found the main problems and deficits existing in current applications, such as the limited one-way mode to provide content in courseware systems, the lack of interactivity, low user activity level, restrictions to Windows platform by current C/S architecture, the lack of teaching management and design tools, etc.;2.Provided a feasibility analysis and research to determine the system's design goals based on demand analysis;3.System platform analysis and selection, analyzed the features and advantages of open source software over the latest development and researches, analyzed and selected the server operating system, database platform, Web server and programming languages and other related technologies;4. Hierarchical structure design and module design of the interactive teaching website system with high cohesion and low coupling principle, analyzed the database structure of modules based on open source software, designed and analyzed the database structure over the modules of teaching groups and video-on-demand system;5.Implemented the interactive teaching website system, deployed Learning Content Management Systems,a multi-user weblog system, a teaching wiki systems, and a social networking services based on open source software, programmed and implemented the teaching group and video-on-demand systems, implemented system integration;6.Discussed the problems and solutions in developing and deploying the project, analyzed and solved problems such as language localization, data backup/recovery and single sign-on. Proposed to enhance the system stability, robustness and security measures, performed a stress test for serving performance of the server of the interactive web system.B/S model was employed in the system which features as the "Browser-Web Server-Database Server" model,where the MySQL data service platform is applied in the data layer for data storage and management, PHP and related technologies were used to render the representation of Web pages.In addition, the simple navigating interface and good interaction could lead the whole system to a better user experience.
