The development of mobile communication is very rapid, as technology continues to evolve, the complexity of cellular wireless networks are growing in the past. Usually the network planning is doing by hand calculation, and it is about to be changed. The wireless network planning in the construction of mobile communication occupies a very important position. The cost of site rooms accounted for a large portion of the total cost. Through reasonable wireless network planning, network construction can reduce the risk, equipment investment, the difficulty of network optimization. Now more depending on computers to carry out the wireless environment and planning simulation has become a trend. The wireless network planning software, which is available to users, especially engineers, is for planning the main wireless network portion, which includes base station location, antenna configuration, the carrier frequency allocation and other access network equipment. It also has business forecast function, based on electronic maps and propagation model to simulate the wireless resources and the environment, which relying on radio resource management algorithm to simulate real equipment, and the operation of algorithms, has reached as close as possible to simulate the real planning scheme implementation results. Coverage prediction in wireless network planning software, occupies a very important position. The algorithm theory of coverage prediction is simple, but the module is very useful, with the help of this module for the entire region could be a macro understanding, which depending on the graphical results. With the results it is easy to find problems in the planning program for adjustment in time. This paper describes the coverage prediction of wireless network planning software, including prediction functions and algorithms. Covering projections are more dependent on the module, due to coverage prediction algorithm itself is not complicated, so full of features in combination with other modules and coverage of their own algorithms to become the target of this study. First describes the data structure before the article had a very detailed analysis. And then describes three ways of coverage prediction computer implementation through introducing the ideas, data structure, working flow. Finally, it is a comparative analysis of three kinds of ways.
