Along with economic globalization and rapid development of information technology, information system has been the key factor of determining the core competence of enterprise.There are some problems in solving the heterogeneous platform connectivity, communication between different protocol, interact between old systems and new systems. While the new architecture theory SOA (Service-oriented Architecture) has born. SOA is supported by IBM and other companies.It is a new enterprise architecture with standards-based, loosely coupled, shared services and coarse-grained.In the past few years, there are lots of maturity software products, IBM's WebSphere series is one of the most excellent products. But these products are expensive. For general small and medium software enterprise (SMEs) and software architecture researchers, they are not a good choice. These enterprises should take cost controlling into consideration. They were forced to abandon the Solution of SOA architecture in IT program. For software architecture researchers, the trial version has short trial period and limited functions. It restricts the spread of SOA technology and development. In order to face these challenges, we look around and find hopes in the open source community. There are numbers of excellent open source software, and many experts and software engineer maintains these open source projects. It is possible to find various technologies and constitute a SOA technology platform. SOA is no longer the IT giant's patents, the SMEs also have the opportunity to deploy SOA.This paper is focus on SOA architecture and deploying SOA with open source technology and building a logistics management system prototype.This paper focuses on the key technology on deploying SOA Architecture with open source technology. The main work include in this paper as follow:1,Investigate the development state of SOA technology and logistics management system. Research the definitions, characteristics, basic architecture and protocols of SOA.2,Analysis the methodology and design principle of SOA, the relationship between SOAD and other methodologies.3,Study the implementation technology in SOA architecture including SCA, SDO, BPM and ESB, and select the open source tools including Apache Tuscany, JBoss jBPM, Apache Synapse.4,Analysis of the status of the logistics company, using SOAD methodology to model the business process of logistics management, compartmentalizes the system module, model and analysis service.5,Focus on the core business process of the logistics management, using jBPM for process modeling, SCA assembly model for creating service, Apache Synapse for transforming message format, switching transport protocol.Through analysis and design logistics management system prototype, I explored the Feasibility of using open source technology to deploy SOA, need further research and experiments to constantly improve the implementation of SOA architecture using open source technology.
